Bledisloe Cup: New Zealand vs Australia

Saturday, October 10 | 2:10 a.m. ET / Friday, October 9, 11:10 p.m. PT | Eden Park, Auckland

One of rugby’s great rivalries returns with the All Blacks defending a 53-Test unbeaten record at Eden Park dating to 1994, according to New Zealand Rugby. Australia has not won at the Auckland ground since 1986, but the Wallabies arrive under Les Kiss with renewed confidence. New Zealand, coached by former Wallabies boss Dave Rennie, is looking to respond after recent defeats to South Africa.

Damian McKenzie has been named at fly-half after Richie Mo’unga was ruled out with a calf injury. Australia has named Isaac Henry alongside Len Ikitau in midfield in place of the suspended Hunter Paisami, while Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii remains on the wing. That puts Henry and Ikitau opposite a New Zealand midfield of Jordie Barrett and Quinn Tupaea. The contest is the first of two Bledisloe Tests, with the return match in Sydney on October 17.
