Conference membership and competition formats can change from year to year, so RFC identifies season-specific information separately from the conference’s evergreen profile.
Southern Rugby Conference Men competes at the men's level within National Collegiate Rugby (NCR) for the 2026–27 season. RFC currently lists 30 member programs, with one in Division I, seven in Division II, 17 in Division III and five in Division I-AA. Conference matches determine the standings shown on this page; games against teams outside Southern Rugby Conference Men are treated as non-conference fixtures and do not count toward RFC’s conference standings. Because the conference includes multiple competitive divisions, RFC displays separate standings for each division and does not combine cross-division records into one table.

In multi-division conferences, a match is counted in a division table only when both teams are members of that same division. Official competition points and tiebreakers may differ.
