The USA Women’s Eagles have named their match-day 23 for Sunday’s WXV Global Series opener against Ireland at Tallaght Stadium in Dublin.
Head coach Jack Hanratty has selected a lineup mixing established internationals with several of the newer players being developed ahead of a five-match WXV campaign.
Hope Rogers, Kathryn Treder and the returning Keia Mae Sagapolu Sanele form the front row, with Rachel Ehrecke and Hallie Taufoou at lock. Hann Humphreys, co-captain Georgie Perris-Redding and Freda Tafuna complete the starting pack.
Abigail Paton starts at scrum-half alongside Bella Vogel at fly-half, while Emily Henrich returns from injury to partner Tessa Hann in the centers. Erica Coulibaly and Telesi Uhatafe start on the wings, with Kayla Canett at fullback.
The team also features a connection to the growing U.S. professional game. Three members of the match-day 23 played in Women’s Elite Rugby in 2026 — Ehrecke and replacement Kapoina Bailey with the Denver Onyx, and Uhatafe with the Bay Breakers. WER identified all three as current league players during the summer international window.
One of the biggest names to watch is Nina Mason, who is uncapped and could make her Women’s Eagles debut from the bench.
